It's no secret to anybody who's worked with me or knows me that the ceremony is my favorite part of every wedding day. I mean, it's the whole reason for the day, right? Getting ready time is sweet and receptions are amazing fun, but the ceremony is where the magic of turning two separate people into one new family happens. Just thinking about it makes me smile.
Ellen and Chris's wedding ceremony at historic St. John's Church at Lafayette Square, right across the street from the White House, was so beautiful. Filled with tradition, love, music, family, joy... it had it all.
Thank you to photographer Marisa Guzman-Aloia for capturing these wonderful storytelling images!
Next up, Ellen and Chris's incredibly gorgeous wedding reception!
These awesome Washington, D.C., wedding vendors contributed to Ellen and Chris's wedding day, and every last one did a fabulous job. Thanks again to all of them!
