Erika and Erich knew exactly what they wanted for their December wedding reception at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, D.C.: It had to be an awesome dance party, and it had to pay homage to their beloved alma mater, Notre Dame University. Oh, and it needed to be drop-dead gorgeous, too. With an awesome vendor team, a carefully planned timeline, and a gorgeous venue, we made it happen!
Arriving guests were blown away by the beauty of the room. The tables set with gold and crystal accents, the lush florals, and the wash of blush lighting over the venue's incredible architecture were breathtaking. The evening began with introductions and the first dance, followed by dinner and toasts. Then we opened up the floor in the rotunda for a dance party that didn't stop until the final minutes of the reception!
Huge thanks to the whole vendor team for this one. Everybody gave 100% plus, and I think it shows in the images below.
What a fabulous party to launch this new marriage! Congrats again, Erika and Erich, and thanks for trusting us with your wedding day!
