Today we're taking a look back to 2011, and this super cute set of chalkboards we made for Alana and Chuck's Memorial Day weekend wedding.
Alana had seen some similar chalkboards I made for one of our weddings at the Thomas Birkby House and some others I'd made for Holly Chapple's studio. She initially was hoping to make some herself, but it turned out that the project didn't fit into her busy schedule so she asked us to create a set just for her instead.
We didn't deliver the chalkboards to Alana already decorated, but since they were for a wedding over a patriotic holiday I couldn't resist chalking them with some buntings (I love bunting so much!) and fireworks to get their surface all primed with chalk and ready to go.
I have always LOVED the way these turned out, and Alana loved them too. Little details like these can really elevate your wedding from nice to wow!
