Today we're taking a look back at a wedding from 2010. Well, sort of . . .
We often work with our couples to design their wedding programs, signage for their reception, and sometimes even their wedding invitation suite. Occasionally that leads us to opportunities to design things for other couples, and this was one of those situations.
Ellen and Scotty had a small destination wedding at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and while we weren't involved in planning or coordinating their wedding, we were honored to create their wedding invitations and wedding programs for them. Their colors were turquoise and brown and they weren't planning a super formal wedding, so we created this windswept design for them.
The programs are double-layer heavy turquoise cardstock, with the couple's names and wedding date mounted on one side and the ceremony details mounted on the other. They're on curvy paddle fan sticks, and they're tied with creamy off-white grosgrain ribbon.
We heard they were a hit! One of these days I'll share a look back at their wedding invitations as well.
