Over the past couple of weeks we've been featuring wedding inspiration boards based on the colors in Pantone's spring 2012 color collection. We'll continue today with Bellflower, a soft yet vivid purple color. What I like about this color is that it's a nice strong shade of violet, but it still works well with a softer palette like what I've created below:
By the way, the other three colors in this palette -- Titanium, Rose Smoke, and French Roast -- are from the Pantone fall 2012 color collection. Hard to believe that collection's already out!
I envision this as a glamorous, sophisticated wedding, with touches of dark wood and shades of silver.
I especially like the angular lines of the vases for the table arrangements contrasted with the lush, fluffy blooms. Same with the circles-on-a-square cake. And that blush wedding dress! I have a soft spot for brides in pale pink.
See any ideas you'd like to jot down? As always, we've linked to all of our sources at the bottom of this post, and you can also see everything in more detail on our bellflower wedding board on Pinterest.
What do you think? Does this put you in the mood for a cool evening of high glamour? And would you wear a pink dress, or are you strictly a bride-in-white traditionalist?
